. Pain in your gums, particularly in the presence of bleeding is a serious symptom. Many people ignore it too long and end up with systemic blood vessel lining inflammation. Bacteria have overcome your local immune system in the gums and saliva and now can gain access through wounds to seed themselves within your body. Serious consequences have been identified. Treating it requires wound management.
How do u stop gum pain and swelling?

um pain and swelling is a serious symptom, particularly if bleeding is present. Bacteria have created infection that leads to open wounds that if you had them on your hand, you would be very concerned. In the mouth they are hidden from view. You just feel pain and see bleeding. What do healthy gums look like?
The simple answer is coral pink in color and stippled with texture, indicating no inflammation or fluid retention. Healthy gums are extremely important to systemic blood vessel lining health. The bacteria can induce healthy gums to change quickly if left in place for more than a day and supplied with food. The saliva and your immune system will fail to keep them in check. Do my gums look healthy if pink and shiny?
Yes, partially. Pink is the right color rather than bright red or magenta. The critical area is often the gums between the teeth that are called papillae. Pink here is really good. The texture of the gums should be stippled, not shiny and smooth. Shiny and blood could indicate edema and beginning inflammation. Inflammation in the gums is a serious problem. It leads to bacterial presence in your blood vessel
Gingivoplasty – how normal do you look afterwards, if you had receding gums?
It depends on the extent. Gingivoplasty intends to alter the current look of the gums. I am unaware of any procedure that can overcome general gum recession by lowering gum onto the teeth. In localized areas where clefs exist or loss of attachment occurs gingival grafts, both free and rotated pedicle types work well to overcome loss of attachment provided occlusal trauma is eliminated and excellent hygiene is in place.

Seek a laser clinician. after years of using a scalpel for this procedure, I have found that the new FDA approved soft tissue lasers, especially those with lens technology, work much better. If your gums are sore and bleeding be sure to see a dentist as soon as possible. The longer you go without getting everything checked out the longer the bacteria has to do damage! If you catch it soon enough you might be able to reserve the damage.
