In-Office Whitening

Do you have a wedding or other special occasion coming up where you want to look your best? If so, the in-office whitening is the solution for you. At Dental Health, we offer a quick and easy light-activated whitening procedure that we recommend as part of your hygiene routine.

We use the DaVinci LED Laser light in combination with an all natural, plant and mineral based whitening gel to safely remove years of staining caused by tobacco, foods, beverages, braces, medication, and discoloration due to age. If you want whiter teeth and a beautiful smile, this process is your safe, affordable and most convenient teeth whitening solution.

The in-office whitening procedure can be done in 3 twenty minutes sessions. You can do these in one visit, or if it is more convenient for you, schedule over 3 visits. You’ll be able to sit back and relax while our expert staff treat you to the latest in teeth whitening technology. This service, combined with our take home bleaching system, has been proven to be very effective in keeping teeth white.

Our in-office whitening is $80 for one session or $220 for three sessions when you schedule with Coda Health Kitchen at Boulder, Midtown and DTC. The teeth whitening session is twenty minutes either back to back or on separate days.  For teeth whitening offers at our Longmont, Westminster and 16th Street Mall location in Denver, please contact their offices.

In our Dental Health Boulder office, we offer a free skin analysis with the VISIA® Complexion Imaging System. This is a multi-spectral imaging system which allows us to recommend a facial rejuvenation routine based on your unique complexion profile. The service only takes another 10-15 minutes for a complete skin analysis.

Take Home Bleaching Trays

As part of your next appointment with Dental Health, in just twenty minutes, we can provide you with custom bleach trays so that you can apply the gel whitener at home. It is a simple process where we take an impression of your teeth and make a thin and easy to wear tray that will exactly fit your teeth.

Whitening Results

This teeth whitening process can remove an average of seven years of staining from your teeth. Whitening options may not completely reverse all types of discoloration, such as brownish-colored or grayish-hued teeth. For the most part, individuals with yellowish-hued teeth (the most common kind) will respond well to bleaching.Teeth whitening offered at Dental Health of Colorado

Side Effects of Teeth Whitening

The primary side effect of teeth whitening is a temporary increase in tooth sensitivity. It is important that your Dental Health dentist conduct a thorough exam to insure that you are a good candidate for teeth whitening. Tooth sensitivity will often occur during the beginning of the bleaching treatment.

If you do experience sensitivity, you can reduce or eliminate it by:

  • Wearing the tray for a shorter period of time (for example, two 30-minute sessions vs. a 60-minute session).
  • Stop whitening your teeth for two to three days to allow your teeth to adjust to the whitening process.
  • Ask your Dental Health dentist for a high fluoride-containing product, which can help remineralize your teeth.
  • Brush your teeth with a toothpaste made for sensitive teeth. These toothpastes contain potassium nitrate, which helps soothe your nerve endings.

Use MI Paste™

At Dental Health, we believe MI Paste™ is one of the best dental products available today. MI Paste™ helps combat sensitivity by delivering Calcium, Phosphate, and Fluoride (MI Paste Plus) to strengthen and rebuild enamel.

The MI in MI Paste™ stands for minimally invasive. Minimally Invasive dentistry is a movement that Dental Health subscribes to within the dental field to prevent and repair problems before they become serious enough to need drilling and filling.

Using MI Paste™ / MI Paste Plus™ before and after bleaching, alleviates tooth sensitivity and restores oral balance. With on-going useafter tooth whitening treatment, MI Paste™ / MI Paste Plus™ helps maintain a bright, white smile.
